Allegan Rural Schoolhouse, out 106th Avenue going east from Allegan toward Miner Lake. The old schoolhouse was on the left hand side of the road, just past a ravine. The photo was probably taken about 1892. The tall boy standing in the front row is Leon Pullen (b. 1882) and he is a relative of mine. I'm judging that he was about 10 years old in the photo. Perhaps someone else could put a better date on the photo.
